TRANSlations is a publishing and production company whose mission is to bring a better understanding of individual differences to a world that is increasingly fast-paced and dehumanized. TRANSlations believes that understanding and addressing individual differences lie at the core of successful personal development, healthier life styles, better stress management and behavior control, improved disease management, enhanced learning, greater productivity, and stronger families and communities.
TRANSlations develops, produces, and markets books, manuals, pamphlets, audio tapes, CDs, podcasts, and other support materials that present information about individual differences.
Jane E Reck, MS
Managing Editor
Jane E Reck is a speech-language pathologist who attended the University of Pittsburgh and Syracuse University. Ms. Reck has more then 20 years clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist and as a member of multidisciplinary health care teams providing treatment to clients of all ages. She has participated in the care of hundreds of patients, trained and supervised staff and participated in the establishment and management of transdisciplinary health care programs in the US and Central America.
Mary K Wolowicz, M.Ed
Director of Product Development
Mary Wolowicz has degrees in Special Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Duquesne University. She has served as Clinical Manager and Director of Education and Support Services for Craig B. Liden, MD & Associates since 1986. Her work has included assessment and counseling with children and adults with learning problems and behavioral difficulties. Mary’s background includes extensive local, regional, national trainings and presentations on a variety of topics related to child development, behavior management, special needs, and communication.n.
Pam Livolsi
Marketing Director
Pam Livolsi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from West Virginia University. She has nearly 20 years experience leading teams in marketing, brand development, and strategic media planning and buying. She spent 12 years in the advertising agency business with MARC Advertising and Ketchum Advertising before starting a consulting firm, Media Intelligence, Inc., seven years ago. As Marketing Director for TRANSlations, Inc., she works to effectively communicate and develop the brand message of individual differences and market the breadth of TRANSlations solutions including educational materials, products, and services.
John Beck
Co-founder, Design Director, Gist Design, Inc.
Gist, an award-winning design firm specializing in interaction, communications planning and instructional design, is working with TRANSlations to create pleasing, clearly organized, educational materials, products, and services. John has nearly 20 years of experience in design consulting, identity management, and communications planning with a BFA in graphic design from Ohio University and an MDes in interaction design from Carnegie Mellon University.
